What Future Are You Asking For?

This morning I was listening to an energy pull on money by Simone Milasas, which is an access consciousness tool to bring in more of what you would like. You can do energy pulls on all sorts of things, but this showed up on my YouTube home screen and thought I would click on it. I have followed access consciousness for quite some time I am a facilitator of access bars which is an amazing tool for calming the mind.
While listening to the energy pull Simone asked, “what future are you asking for?” and that got me thinking because how many of us are asking for a future that we don’t actually want? I have said before that what you think you goal is, often isn’t what you are actually asking for. I felt that this was true for this question, are we really asking for more money or are we asking for what we perceive money can give us. You can insert anything that you are asking for at the moment instead of money, it could be health related, relationship related and so forth. But what are you really asking for and are you actually asking from fear. It is easy to get into fear when it comes to money. I have been receiving newsletters from Dr Karen Parker who is well known in the human design world this week about money interesting timing I say not. She was just asking in the last email I received for us to be curious about what our money is nourishing which is a slightly different way of asking us what future we are asking for. She then went on and asked about what businesses are we supporting and what kind of work are we rewarding, along with what are we helping someone create more of. For example, with the last one if we are buying from a scarcity mindset then we are much more easily manipulated and we are teaching other businesses to use those tactics that make us feel scarce, is that the future we really want? So, you can see how these two concepts overlap.
Have you really considered what you are asking for when you say you want more money let’s say? Have you considered where this motivation comes from, does it come from a feeling of not enough money. In Simone’s energy pull she asked us to put our focus on the money we had and the money we didn’t have and to notice that most of the time we go to what we don’t have and not what we do have. What came up for you when I said to focus on the money you do have and the money you don’t have? I feel like we could mostly agree with Simone on this one and we were more likely to focus on the money we didn’t have but want and not on the money that we already had and growing that. When we focus on what we don’t have, we tend to grow that and not what we do have and then wonder why more money isn’t showing up, how can it when we are actually focusing on how little we perceive we have. I believe this type of focus shuts down curiosity and possibility; we stop thinking about where else money might show up or how else we might create it.
“Curiosity helps to keep you open and receptive to receiving things that you would never have received before. This also means that it might not look like how you thought it was going to look and that’s important to note when we remove control of the outcome we are left with possibility.”

When asking about what future you are asking for consider for a second about opening to what else is possible and notice that when we come from a question, we are more likely to remain curious. I believe curiosity leads to unexpected outcomes, I feel like you are more likely to keep an eye out for an opportunity that you might not have considered if you were stuck in the lack of your situation. It might be a collaboration opportunity; you might see something on social media that sparks an idea you had never considered before and so on. Curiosity helps to keep you open and receptive to receiving things that you would never have received before. This also means that it might not look like how you thought it was going to look and that’s important to note when we remove control of the outcome we are left with possibility. If we try and control things too tight, I believe we limit what can show up. A question for you, would it really be that bad if your request didn’t show up as you thought with the possibility of it being so much better than you imagined? This highlight when we try to control and limit how things show up and how that might lead to frustration when the outcome may actually be better, but we can’t see it because it’s not exactly as we thought. What if we allowed the universe to support us in our manifestation and place a little trust that we are powerful enough to bring what for our highest good towards us and our only challenge is to accept that it might not look exactly as we thought, can you do that? Your answer to that question will most likely highlight some of the stories that you have running underneath you request and why it might not be actualising.
I will leave you with a couple of questions to ponder and see what shows up:
What future are you asking for?
What are you focusing on, what you have or what you don’t have?
What are you nourishing in your life?
