What Else Is Possible? What Are You Limiting Because You Think It Is Impossible?

I have been participating in a program that keeps asking what else is possible as a standard, not as an exception.
This is a 90-day program although it is stretches over 5 months because there is an allowance for integration. In today’s session part of the focus was on what are you limiting because you either think that it is impossible or that you will get a no so therefore you don’t ask. I found this an intriguing question because I think that many of us don’t believe that we can have what we ask for. There is often a part of us due to past conditioning that uses that as evidence that we can’t have what we wish for. This isn’t about being completely unrealistic about your request. You don’t actually need further proof that you can’t have what you want, that serves no purpose other than to reinforce the premise that you can’t have what you want and that’s not what this is about.
“I believe that part of the problem with manifestation is that we are often asking for something that we don’t truly desire. Usually there is a deeper truth to our desires that we often don’t acknowledge. “
Sarah Yeoman
I believe that part of the problem with manifestation is that we are often asking for something that we don’t truly desire. Usually there is a deeper truth to our desires that we often don’t acknowledge. Let’s use weight as an example (knowing that I don’t push wright loss as a goal and this is actually why). What often lies under a desire to lose weight is actually having more energy, greater ease of movement, better sleep, well you kind of get the idea it’s not the weight loss that we are actually after it is everything that we believe that it will give us. The reality is that you may actually get those true desires without losing any weight at all. This is also why I never push weight loss as a goal. I’m all about health promotion, promoting healthy habits without weight loss is often what I suggest because what will often happen is that if weight loss doesn’t happen and that was the primary driver then people stop the health promoting activity because they didn’t get the weight loss. As you can see why asking the simple question what else is possible when it comes to how you look at your body might produce vastly different outcomes than just focusing on the weight loss.
Now this program has been focusing on money and business and what they ask is that you create a list of what are you asking for. Now we are about a week into the program, and I can already feel the energy shifting. My original list feels very clinical and lacking the energetic resonance that I am usually looking for. I think that I was getting all caught up on what I thought I ‘should’ be asking for and not what I actually want for my money and my business. I am not one who believes in hoarding money for the sake of saying that I have a million dollars and I also not someone whose primary driver is to be a business owner who makes a million dollars as a destination for my business. I want my clients to feel special and not one of many, however in the current online business space this is often what is seen as successful.
“So, today I revisited the question of “what am I asking for?”, and was surprised not that I should have been. It wasn’t numbers focused like the first list it was impact and relational which felt more authentic to me.”
Sarah Yeoman
So, today I revisited the question of “what am I asking for?”, and was surprised not that I should have been. It wasn’t numbers focused like the first list it was impact and relational which felt more authentic to me. I was wondering why I was struggling with the energy pulls. I was struggling because they weren’t what I was really after, because in truth you have to be careful what you ask for because you might just get it.
The other side of possibility is opening up to it not looking like you thought it might and is that really a bad thing. Simply asking what else is possible opens up pathways that allow for your manifestation to show up in unique and wonderful ways, maybe even better than you thought.
Is there an area in your life where you are feeling stuck and like there is no way out, what if you simply asked, “what else is possible?” and see what comes up for you. Also as stated before don’t put limitations on what shows up, this is where allowance comes into play, allowing the universe to open doors you hadn’t thought of, introduce you to people you haven’t met yet and so on. This is what makes manifestation miraculous, if we place limitations on what we perceive as possible think of all the things that you may never get to experience.
What if you allowed your manifestation to expand and grow beyond your limitations? What if you just allowed? What else might be possible?
